Robot Coupe Capacitor 60UF Motor Running Slow Buzzing

Description:

Magimix 600018 Capacitor - 60uf +25% AC220v, 7cms long x 3.5cms.

A start capacitor alters the current to one or more winding of a single phase A.C. Induction motor to create a rotating magnetic field. If your motor is running Slow or just Humming and not going round, it could be the capacitor, this can be caused by running in a damp atmoshere or continous use ie commercial.

These are fairly easy to change by a competant person, with a TORX 20 screwdriver, unplug and turnover machine, remove the 4 rubber feet and undo the screws, once inside you will see three wires with plugs leading to the Capacitor (take a photo) pull these off, replace Capacitor, put leads back on (as per photo) carefully screw base on.
